Dalston

We are a happy, committed village. Our Sunday morning worship will be familiar to many in the Methodist Church, not that we are set in our ways. We are keen to try new things and develop our understanding.

We have a regular Bible Study group (October to Lent) and host ecumenical Lent and Advent courses. We also put on a popular monthly Meet to Eat lunch open to anyone in the community.

We have good links with our friends at St Michael’s as we have just started a monthly Men’s Breakfast together. We also work together on a joint stand at our local Dalston Show.

We are committed to our part in the Carlisle Rural Mission Community which stretches from Bowness on Solway to Caldbeck and includes 17 Church of England Churches and 5 Methodist Churches.
